- Silica gel beads are a highly porous form of silicon dioxide
- Acts as a desiccant, or drying agent, by adsorbing and trapping moisture from the air
- Produced in Beads form in sizes 1-3 mm and 3-5 mm.
- Non-Indicating Type Silica Gel is Transparent /White in appearance and does not change color on adsorption of moisture.
- Blue/Orange Silica Gels Change color as they adsorb moisture.
- Granular form is mostly used in static de-humidification applications in the form of sachets/ breathable bags.
